– Albus Dumbledore

About me

I am passionate about supporting people to have more control over their life and work using person-centred, outcomes focussed practices.

I am committed to exploring self management and the positive impact that can have on service delivery.

What others like and admire about me

  • Passionate
  • Down to Earth
  • Resilient
  • Loyal
  • Flexible

What's important to me

  • Feeling connected to my colleagues through our weekly virtual team meetings, what’s app, and our quarterly get togethers.
  • To do family stuff. I love it when we randomly get together for meals, hikes, gigs, and trips. Staying in touch weekly through text, what’s app, and Facebook.
  • To be around can-do people. I am a glass half full person and am at my best when people look for solutions.
  • To understand the bigger picture and where my part is within it.
  • To feel that I know what I am talking about and feel sufficiently prepared for whatever I am involved in.
  • Being the best Nana that I can to my grandchildren Oliver, Nicholas, and Florence and having an active presence in their lives every week.
  • Reading or audio booking daily and being part of a book club. I love science fantasy, the classics, and murder mystery.
  • Staying healthy and physically fit. My current passion is strength training, and I like to do this at the gym at least 4 times a week.

How to best support me

  • Having a flexible framework or outline works best for me as opposed to a blank page. I have a tendency to procrastinate if I am starting something from scratch.
  • If I don’t understand something fully, I will revisit and question it until I do. Please be patient if this feels
  • I think best with other people and value opportunities to talk through ideas or problems. I value open, honest and constructive feedback. Clear is kind!
  • If I have too much on or feel overwhelmed my sleep often suffers and I may sacrifice “me time” routines, such as exercise. You may also see me chewing my nails more than usual. Check in with me if you notice me doing any of these and I’ll appreciate the opportunity to talk or at least reflect.
  • Know that I usually don’t work Mondays and have school run responsibilities on Fridays from 2.45.
