About Me

My passion is helping others to identify a vision of their best possible life through creative thinking; at home, work, in relationships and communities.  This passion is a result of working with teams and organizations using person-centered approaches for over 30 years.

What people like and admire about me

  • Supportive

  • Thoughtful

  • Dedicated

  • Responsible

  • Endearing

  • Authentic

  • Silly sense of humor and fun

Whats important to me

  • Working with people who want to support others to have the best life possible.

  • Create learning opportunities for others that promote positive control.

  • Opportunities to connect with others to learn, share, and grow.

  • Having self-care and family time so I am at my best when at work.

How to best support me

  • I appreciate immediate and honest feedback, applied gently as a mentor, in a 1:1 setting. NEVER in a group. Start with “Have you considered….” or “May I share with you how I would do this?” etc.

  • I love being a part of rich conversations that are communicated clearly so I can understand the outcome expected of me. Put expectations in writing when possible and provide deadlines.

  • I thrive best in a supported environment where I feel psychologically safe to learn, share, and grow.

  • Celebrate with me! I get excited when we learn from each other.

  • If I need to learn something new, show me. I am a visual learner.

  • Please honor my scheduled time off; such as, holidays and vacations. I need the time to reset!

  • Know that I am deaf in my right ear and have some loss in my left ear. Try not to get frustrated with me if I do not hear you or ask you to repeat things to me. Do not worry about offending me when ensuring I heard what is said. Laugh with me when my hearing loss creates the opportunity to add humor.

  • I can be terribly forgetful when under extreme amounts of stress. Do not be afraid to remind me if there is anything I need to do.
