Person-Centered Thinking training is recommended for everyone involved in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and others who use long-term services and supports. Participants will develop skills in person-centered thinking through a series of discussions, applied stories, and guided exercises.
The course takes place in person over two days held from 9am-4:30 pm June 30 – July 1, 2025. Participants must attend both full days to receive a certificate of completion.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Describe the benefits of person-centered descriptions and one-page descriptions.
- Practice person-centered thinking skills with a partner to create your person-centered description and one-page description.
- Apply person-centered thinking practices to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Mental Health, Aging, Healthcare, and Intellectual/Developmental Disability professionals and others are interested in the practical application of person-centered thinking skills.
REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required. Class size is limited. Registration will close 1 week before the event.
CERTIFICATE: To receive a certificate of attendance, participants must attend both full days of the Person-Centered Thinking Training.
